The Haleki'i Pihana Heiaus, Ancient Temple Site of the Hawaiian People. According to legend the site was built by the menehune in one night with the stones out of The Iao Stream. The menehunes are a nocturnal people who work from sunset to dawn. Haleki'i translates as "house of images", Pihanakalani translates as "gathering place of high supernatural beings", and Heiau is a Hawaiian sacred religious structure, or Temple.
