“Narcolepsy hurts like hell. Many narcoleptics suffer from temporary paralysis and cataplexy. The mind becomes conscious and aware of it's surroundings before the brain releases it from the paralysis caused during sleep — this is to prevent us from acting out our dreams. Individuals who are not associated with this disorder typically demonstrate their lack of understanding through their anger towards narcoleptics inability to wake up. The more you try and force yourself to wake up, the stronger the paraylsis grips.”

“Narcoleptics have vivid dreaming episodes during a waking state. The Ancients considered these individuals as Seers. They respected such children with this condition, and trained them as the societies priests, priestesses, seers and oracles. Graphite on paper.”

Title: What do narcoleptics dream about? Fall, fall, falling asleep.

“I heard one day, while asleep, the curious voice of a child asking: ‘Mommy, what do narcoleptics dream about?’ ‘They dream about fall, fall, falling asleep,’ she answered.”

“Narcoleptic individuals cannot help falling asleep, every waking moment is spent trying to stay awake! No quantity of sleep improves this need for sleep. To try and get people to understand this constant urge to go to sleep, professionals have contructed this scenario: If a normal person forces themselves to stay awake for three days and nights, and then goes to work and tries to preform their duties, will begin to understand how narcoleptics feel every moment. Even a normal person begins to hallucinate after three days without sleep, and cannot concentrate or make decisions well.”
